After being in a kindergarten classroom for my first year as an intern and falling in love with it, I chose to return to the same class room as last year. I am at Holiday Heights Elementary, located at 5221 Susan Lee Ln, North Richland Hills, TX 76180. I assist Mrs. Hay in the morning while I am there. While I am in her kindergarten classroom they are working on their reading and writing skills through centers, usually if they are on schedule they go through a morning routine where they go over the weather, calendar, lunch count, question of the day, and other various learning activities. After they are done with this they head to centers which include writing stations, read to self, computers, listening center, word work, and a special center in which they work in small groups with Mrs. Hay. while they are in centers normally go from center to center working with the kids and assisting them with the differnt  activities they are doing. There are other times in which I do a lesson for the class.
